What can I say, playing is my one true passion...

I have had a thing for the drums for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid I would play the drums on my pillow while listening to Kiss albums, daydreaming about having a real drum kit. It wasn't until I was about 13 when I finally had my first crappy, throw together, cracked cymbals, no name drum kit...I was now a true drummer at heart. I was hooked. Its hard to really describe what I feel like when I'm behind my kit, I'm in a whole other place, my safe zone. Even though I have been playing for over 30 years, I have really only played with 3 bands, and Mike has been in all of them. From way back when it all started with our first band Savage, to Rocco's Collar, and now with 454. There is something about creating music that is so self satisfying, it makes me truly feel blessed, and to be lucky enough to be playing with such incredibly talented musicians makes me feel honored. Being a drummer is not a hobby for me, its why I'm here....
It's who I am.
