As a kid of the 80’s...

When you wanted to be immersed in rock music, MTV and Headbangers Ball was where you went to see it all. Staring at the tv for entirely way too long solidified that playing music was something I had to do. At age 9, I started playing bass. It was a cheap, no name, starter bass and amp, but it was mine and I played the hell out of it. Topped off that same year, the first concert I went to was Bon Jovi and Skid Row. I was hooked. Fast forward almost 40 years later. Having played previously with a number of local bands, most notably Drill 187 and Jam Pain Society, the fun and love of playing is what keeps me going. I’ll probably play music until I physically can’t at this point.
